It's a grind-em-out game, with PS having a good chance of prevailing if they can overcome the screwups by special teams. A short Boone punt set up an Ohio State touchdown, and a movement penalty helped shorten the distance for an OSU field goal. PS has a zero yards on punt returns and may be negative on kickoffs because of a blocking penalty.

Iowa's QB Stanzi was knocked out in the first half, and Iowa was unable to score again. Isn't it funny the different ways luck can come at you? Final score Northwestern 17, Iowa 10.

Penn State now controls its own destiny. Winning out will give them a share of the Big 10 title. Another Iowa loss (especially at Ohio State next week) will give Penn State the Rose Bowl. Let's get down to business with Ohio State today.

PSU's and OSU's stats on offense and defense are very similar. The one thing that stands out is that PSU passes for about 60 yards more per game. Should be a great game tomorrow.

I can't wait for the game on Saturday. I'm excited to see the Penn State - Ohio State game. Even though the Big Ten has tried to make Penn State - Michigan State a rivalry game, I believe the team I most enjoying playing is Ohio State (probably due to proximity). Michigan is clearly #2.

It's going to be a beautiful fall day at Beaver Stadium on Saturday.

Ohio State's offense is well balanced -- rushes and passes for nearly the same yardage. In addition, Pryor is OSU's leading rusher -- I didn't realize that. I guess OSU doesn't have a dominant running back this year.

PSU averages about 50 more yards per game of offense than OSU. However, PSU and OSU are scoring and giving up roughly the same number of points per game.

It should be a great game on Saturday.

The PSU-OSU game is, without a doubt, the biggest one on the schedule for Penn State. This year, this game will undoubtedly be as big as the Michigan game for OSU. It's a question of another possible Big 10 championship vs. beating a hated rival. Wins over both are important.

I see this game as being decided between quarterbacks. They appear as clones, except that Clark has greater experience. Pryor will need to scramble for his life in the face of Penn State's defense....
