CAMP ATTENDIES ??? |

Has anyone read who was at the camp last weekend? I was wondering if Tate Forcier made the trip from California. He sounds like the real deal.

Unfortunately, I never saw a list of the players who attended, and I never saw any newspaper articles about it.
I hope Forcier attended, but I'm not sure. Penn State needs two QBs in their 2009 class.

I read that Dan Mason (LB) was the outstanding LB at the camp.

I beilive that the 3 verbal commitments we received over the weekend might have all attended the camp

I noticed some of the recruits this year are of the smallish speedy variety. Devon Smith might be fun to watch returning punts and kick-offs. Dan Mason,
5' 11" at LB. Has there ever been a LB under 6' 0" at PSU. Maybe 1 of the Harris brothers?

I saw Devon Smith listed at 140 lbs. Seems to me that he needs to add at least 30 pounds. I imagine Justin Norwood is around 165 lbs, and he's probably the
lighest player on Penn State's roster.
5'11" is bit small for LB. He seems like a good prospect though. I don't remember many LBs under 6'0". However, I'm sure some are right around that mark. How tall are Bowman and Gbadyu?

You have to go all the way back to 1970 (Gary Gray 5-11 - 204) to find a starter under 6 foot.
Another one I found interesting: 1979 - STEVE GRIFFITHS 6-5 - 235 |

Thanks for the great information. 6'5" is a tall LB.
