This fall i will be coming to University Park as a Junior. I finished my freshmen and sophmore years in the Scranton area. I am buying student tickets and i got one major question. If your only allowed one ticket? Than how is it possible to sit with your friends? Are you allowed to all sit together just as long as you have student tickets? How does it work?

Beyond that, it's first-come, first-served as far as specific seats go. Enjoy your time there. Hopefully, you'll have a good team to root for. I had the good fortune of being there during the glory days of Penn State football. I still lament the decision to join the Big Ten.

Actually, I think the student ticket policy is slightly changed now. Students do still get sections by freshmen, sophomores, etc. However, you get assigned seats the day of the game (i.e., you go up with your friends and then get assigned seats together). If you have a large enough group, you can get tickets ahead of time. I liked the old way better where you had a set section but just walked right in. PSU89
