Curtis Drake gave PSU a verbal commitment, but I see him as a WR or CB and not QB at Penn State. Scout.com only shows PSU offering scholarships to 3 other QBs. One of them has already give a verbal commitment to another school and one is from CA. I hope the coaching staff isn't putting too many eggs in too few baskets. Thoughts?

Hopefully, things will become more clear after that if he gives us some feedback. Then again, his site gives the impression he will take his time and weigh all factors before making the final pick. I live on the West Coast and have noticed that kids here seem to get a bit "antsy" about going east of the Rockies. Not to say it doesn't happen. Some are saying the staff still has hopes for Newsome changing his mind, but that is a long shot at best. After the Tate visit I think we will start offering some of the "dark horses." Schoop might be a good start. He's local and is getting some wide attention.

Lydell Sargeant is from CA but has ties to PA and has done well. I just don't think we should put too many eggs in the Forcier basket. We need to recruit more QBs. Thanks for the Wasserman information. QB from Canada is an interesting prospect. We Are...Pennn State!
